October 19: Community Hangout at The Hangar

With the return of colder and wetter weather, we are transitioning from our outdoor "Rain or Shines" in the parks to our new indoor "Community Hangout" series.

Community Hangouts are a great opportunity to connect in person with local hams from the LWHC Community, and to chat about amateur radio. Bring your projects, your questions and ideas, or just yourself, and enjoy hanging out with some fantastic people.

Our first Community Hangout will be held on Saturday, October 19, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM, at The Hangar at Kenmore Town Square.

We have reserved the "Otter Room," the large, open space inside The Hangar which accommodates up to 50 people. If you're bringing a large crowd, please let us know in advance by emailing board@lwhc.groups.io.

Feel free to bring a personal snack and/or drink. Also located in The Hangar is Diva Espresso, a northwest original coffee franchise. Diva Espresso sells various beverage and food options, including coffee, teas, smoothies, baked goods, sandwiches, ice cream, and beer and wine.
