Community Hangout 2025

We are happy to announce the Hangout at the Hangar series is being renewed for the Fall & Winter of 2025-2026.  Plan to join us for more face-to-face QSOs, great coffee and snacks, and possibly a few show-and-tell projects.

About Our Hangouts at the Hangar:

With the return of colder and wetter weather, we transition from our outdoor "Rain or Shines" in the parks to our indoor "Community Hangout" series.

Community Hangouts are a great opportunity to connect in person with local hams from the LWHC Community, and to chat about amateur radio.  Do you know of a ham in your area?  Bring them along; they'll find a bunch of new friends at the Hangout.  Bring your projects, your questions and ideas, or just yourself, and enjoy hanging out with some fantastic people.

We have great attendance at our hangouts, and we are a friendly bunch, so make sure to put the dates (listed above) on your calendar and come if you can!

We reserve the "Otter Room," the large, open space inside The Hangar which accommodates up to 50 people. If you're bringing a large crowd, please let us know in advance by emailing board@lwhc.groups.io.

Feel free to bring a personal snack and/or drink, but NO food to share, please. Also located in The Hangar is Diva Espresso, a northwest original coffee franchise. Diva Espresso sells various beverage and food options, including coffee, teas, smoothies, baked goods, sandwiches, ice cream, and beer and wine.
