Kids 7 Lake Washington Hams (K7LWH)
Kids Net will begin operation for the 2011-2012 school year beginning September 18, 2011.
Kids net mission statement
The goal of Kids Net is to provide school age kids with a regular time and place to check in and find other kids who share their common interest in communicating with their ham radios. Second, it is hoped that by using their radios regularly at least once a week the kids will keep their radio batteries charged and improve radio communication skills. To meet these goals, we hold a controlled Net on a local amateur radio repeater in Kirkland, Washington each Sunday night at 8:15 PM.
Visitors are welcomed to participate and respond when requested. We communicate on the local 2-meter repeater at 145.490 Mhz. minus offset 103.5 tone (-) OffSet
Visitors from other areas may check in on IRLP Reflector node #9256
