2012 Technician Radio Class
Horace Hamby (N7DRW), and guest instructors are teaching a FCC amateur radio class (Technician Class) to students and parents. A technician class license allows amateurs to use radio frequencies for emergency communications, family communications, personal technology growth, and to make many new friends worldwide.
The class will be offered to “learning teams.” A “learning team” will be made up of a parent/adult and up to three children. Class is targeted for children ages 9-12. However, younger children may be accepted if deemed capable of doing the work.
Children will be provided readers on the exam sessions if they are in need of such assistance.

| Cost | $58 For one adult and up to three children. Includes one text book per group. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Please make checks out to: Lake Washington Ham Club. Additional $15 FCC testing fee per person is due on testing day.
