Field Day’s focus this year: show public how Amateur Radio can support the community in the case of a major disaster and to further develop your HAM radio skills to support this mission while having fun with our traditional contest.
This will be your chance to learn new skills and to teach others the skills you know.
There will be participation Prizes–But you have to participate to win. We need help with the following items.
- Set-Up (this group decides where antennas will be placed and does the installations)
- Radio Scheduling (this group assigns students and parents radio operating times and other events)
- Registration (this group collects registration money and issues Field Day Badges)
- Picnic (helps with set up and clean-up)
- Publicity (this group does PR and talks to the news media that sometimes shows up and talks to the general public)
- Safety/Security (this group does all the safety items and also keeps the site secure for children)

Saturday Only Saturday, June 25th 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM | Fee: $10.00 per student $20.00 per adult (The fee covers the cost of snacks, lunch barbeque, set up materials, and the remainder of money goes as a donation to the LWHC) |
Overnight Saturday, June 25th 8:00 AM to Sunday, June 28th 11:00 AM | Fee: $15.00 per student $25.00 per adult (The fee covers the cost of snacks, lunch barbeque, dinner barbeque, midnight munchies, morning breakfast, set up materials, and the remainder of money goes as a donation to the LWHC)
